La Specialized Epic World Cup es la bicicleta de carreras XC más rápida del mundo, fusionando eficiencia, control y ligereza.
El equipo de ingeniería de Specialized ha logrado establecer nuevos niveles de rigidez torsional y rigidez del eje de pedalier para ofrecer una transferencia de potencia eficiente y una conducción precisa. Esto se logró mediante un enfoque de desarrollo integrado que combina un diseño de doble diamante estructuralmente sólido con un amortiguador ubicado dentro del tubo superior, todo ello complementado con el uso del carbono más avanzado en la historia de Specialized.
El objetivo final es proporcionar la máxima velocidad.
Además, gracias a los 75mm de recorrido trasero en la Epic World Cup, consigue un control y capacidad mayor. Debido a que está diseñado para funcionar con un sag muy reducido, ofrece el mismo recorrido efectivo que una bicicleta de 100mm con un 25% de sag.
